Description

My family and I attended a dinner and concert on March 14, 2015 in Historic Harmony, Pennsylvania.  We had dinner at the Stohr Haus Bakery where we had a German dinner in the wine cellar and then walked across the street to the Bottlebrush Art Gallery to watch a concert by the Ploughshare Poets who perform Scottish and Irish music.  This was a combination deal sponsored by the Bottlebrush Gallery.  A good time was had by all and plan on doing it again next year.

About The Ploughshare Poets:
Ryan Stauffer and Vade King are The Ploughshare Poets, a popular duo at the Bottlebrush Gallery known for their boisterous Celtic music, strong harmonies, clever banter, and impromptu parades through the streets of Harmony. Far from being a kitschy pub band, they are masters of the history and cultural importance of Scottish and Irish music. Expert musicians, The Poets play bagpipes, guitar, whistles, drums, and bouzouki. Ryan has played bagpipes for 20 years and makes his own small pipes.
Vade played extensively in England and Scotland and was the lead singer of
“Colin’s Way” for 10 years.
