Interesting, looks like it's a new house but with an very old wooden boards around it! ;)

You are very observant. This is actually a log home that is probably 200 years old that was moved from a nearby location. It was actually reassembled. It was a little gift shop first and now is a private home.

Then I'm not observant: I thought it's a new house...

Well, in a way, it is. It must have plumbing and electricity now since it is used as a home. There is also another cabin across the street from this one that was also moved there.

No, that's the name I just started putting on my photos. My maiden name was Glass, so my husband thought that would be a good name for my photography.

Thanks Larry. I wish I had taken the opportunity to see the inside when it was a little shop.

Thanks so much Gigi. This is what it looked like when it was being operated as kind of a gift shop. It is now a private home.

Very cozy-looking. Romantic, dare I say.

That is one thing about living down here: sure, we don't have snow or bad winters at all, but we also don't get the wintertime beauty or the pleasure of coming in from the snowy cold into a warm home

Thanks so much for your nice comments. It's gotten very cold here, too cold for me.
